One day we’ll give these girls a prize, and it will be for ‘The Partnership for Whom Stress Is Not an Option’. Despite running a hugely successful company that’s growing all the time, Aletia Griffiths and Jacqui Grant never row, never seem to get uptight and even spend their days off swimming together with their kids!
They were first introduced to Water Babies when they took their sons swimming to lessons in Bristol. So impressed were they with the concept that they left thriving careers as an engineering consultant and an ergonomist (we had to look it up too). Within a matter of days - or so it felt - they had signed the paperwork and were training to join the team.
Kate Wacey quickly joined them as an instructor, followed by Anita Turner, Elin Jones, Vicky Mahe, Charlie Jones and Tasha Roberts. Last year Sarah Bachelor showed everyone she’s as proficient in water as she is in the office, becoming Water Babies’ first official swimming administrator, joined recently on the admin side by Suzie Windebank and Andrea Sidnell.
