If you consider that Louise Crisford’s favourite thing about her previous job was ‘going home’, it’s little wonder she’s cock a hoop with her new career, describing teaching babies to swim as ‘her calling’ and just the best job ever! Louise was introduced to the concept when she took baby Evelyn to lessons at just three weeks. Classes obviously made an instant impression. Not only did she immediately retrain as an instructor, but within thirteen months she’d bought the business too!

Husband, Alan, is equally happy to be joining his wife in work as well as play. With degrees in criminology and criminal justice, working with babies makes a dramatic change to victim liaison work. But he finds his new career equally rewarding, having found the transition from suits to lycra remarkably smooth! Both parents also now love taking new baby Quinn to lessons – who was born in water, and has loved it ever since.

Stephanie is the friendly voice found answering the phone and a team of instructors (all brilliant and most having completed the course with their own children) completes the Water Babies crew.
