Despite her relative youth, with thirteen years swimming instruction under her belt Kim Bennett is one of Water Babies' most experienced teachers. Her empathy and intelligence mean she plays a key role in the continual development of the company (she even co-wrote our 40 week course) and we're delighted that she's also a senior national tutor for Water Babies instructors.  In 2009 she co-presented with Paul and Jess Thompson at the World Aquatic Baby Conference in Canada.

Kim originally taught in Leeds as our very first instructor, before relocating with her partner Mark Crocombe and their son Frankie to set up classes in Norwich. Taking Frankie to lessons from birth meant that Mark became equally evangelical about the merits of baby swimming. Having done a huge amount to help the success of the business in the early days, he's now reverted back to his previous career and these days experiences the classes mostly just as a dad again, with gorgeous new baby, Miller. 

Since starting in September 2005, the company has gone from strength to strength (we always knew it would). Together with their lovely instructors Carol Lumbard, Sarah Heatley, Sadie Hunton, Melanie Betts, Danie Cutter, Clare Richardson and Amanda Howes and their admin saviours, Emma Adderson and Louise Payn, the company now teaches more than 800 babies a week across Norfolk and Suffolk.
